Our values

We are committed to the great commission

At Go Global, our leaders and churches are passionate about making disciples within their communities and across their regions. We believe every follower of Jesus has a part to play in reaching others, and every congregation should contribute to the growth and multiplication of new churches.

... go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
— Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20

We passionately believe in the Local Church

We are convinced that the Church is God’s “plan A” for the world—the chosen vehicle through which His Kingdom is advancing. Scripture shows how deeply God treasures His Church, calling it His House, His Bride, His Body: “a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession.” Because God values the Church, we are committed to valuing it too, in all its diverse expressions across the globe.

In the Go Global family, we love and serve the capital-C Church—not just our own churches—and we work to strengthen unity between churches wherever we are.

We are committed to a Word-and-Spirit theology

As a family of churches, we are united by shared biblical convictions that shape our mission. These are outlined in our Foundations course, which also serves as the membership pathway in every Go Global church (to order a copy of Foundations, click here).

We are committed to the Word of God—you could call us evangelical. We believe the Bible is God’s inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word. It is the final authority for our lives, our churches, and our mission.

We are committed to the Spirit of God—you could call us charismatic or Pentecostal. We believe in the present-day power of the Holy Spirit and embrace spiritual gifts, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the expectation that signs, wonders, and miracles will accompany the gospel. We believe God still appoints apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip His people, and we look to the book of Acts as a model of normal Christian life—marked by growth, miracles, generosity, and Kingdom impact.

We cultivate Christlike leadership

We believe leadership must reflect Jesus. He was both the Lion and the Lamb: strong yet gentle, bold yet humble. Christlike leaders take ground with courage and conviction, yet lead as servants who value people, listen well, and remain accountable. They use authority to empower, not overpower; to serve, not dominate—strong but never harsh, driven by love rather than ego. This leadership prioritises people over performance. In Go Global churches, we are committed to raising leaders of integrity and transparency who uphold the highest standards of financial, moral, and structural accountability.

We pursue self-sustained, financially empowered ministry

At Go Global, we believe every church should grow to become financially self-sustaining and generous. Like Paul, who supported his ministry through tentmaking (Acts 18:3), we value and encourage this work ethic in leadership (2 Thessalonians 3:8–10).

While external support can help in the early stages, long-term financial dependence weakens churches, limits growth, and undermines autonomy. Our aim is for congregations to grow in generosity and be able to support their own ministry (1 Corinthians 9:14)—and ultimately, to bless beyond their local context.

We also recognise the vital role of those with the gift of giving within our churches (Romans 12:8). Therefore, Go Global invests in training, entrepreneurship, and micro-finance so churches can thrive in every context—moving from self-sustaining to channels of blessing for others.

We remember the poor

In Galatians 2:10, Paul recalls being urged to “remember the poor” something he was already eager to do. At Go Global, we share that eagerness.

Our leaders and churches are committed to showing God’s love through practical support for the poor—within our churches, local communities, and beyond.

Compassion is not an added extra; it is an essential expression of the Gospel we live and proclaim.
